Members of the University of Guelph’s Business Development Office will present at the Agriculture and Water 2.0 Global Investments conference in Toronto from Nov. 7 to 9. The conference will focus on investment opportunities in new technologies, farmland and agribusiness.

BDO director Erin Skimson will discuss the bio-bin as part of a panel discussion on “Plastic Plants: A Renewable Investment.” Steve De Brabandere, associate director of BDO, will moderate a session on “Making a Play for Protein,” looking at the potential investment opportunity in replacement technology for animal protein. Peter Miller, director of business development at the Biodiversity Institute of Ontario, will discuss DNA traceability.
