A celebration of the life of University professor emerita Parvathi (Pari) K. Basrur will be held Dec. 15 at 2 p.m. in Rozanski Hall.

Prof. Basrur died Nov. 10 at the age of 83. The celebration will recognize her long and distinguished career in the Department of Biomedical Sciences and her service to the community. At the beginning of the celebration, she will be posthumously awarded the Queen’s Diamond Jubilee Medal. Tributes by colleagues and friends will be followed by a reception in the concourse of Rozanski Hall.
